May 18, 2020:  Continued Closure of Lobbies for Safety

Badger Bank continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic situation, including the rate of new infections, and is following the advice of the CDC and other federal, state, and local officials.  As you know, our lobby access has been restricted as a precautionary measure to protect our staff, customers and community.   Bank management is currently preparing for the eventual re-opening of the lobbies and will do so once we’re comfortable that it will be safe for all.   As we lay the groundwork for the eventual re-opening of our lobbies, please continue to use the drive up service or make appointments to access the lobbies. As always, our online banking and mobile app are available for your convenience.

May 7, 2020: Update - Public Safety and Thanks

Now that the sun is out and the weather’s warmer, we’re starting to feel a bit restless and beginning to wonder when things might return to “normal”.  When will our lobbies re-open?  When can I eat at my favorite restaurant again?  When can I lick that doorknob?  Well maybe not that last one…

It’s difficult to speak in any certain terms during a time of uncertainty, but our management group continues to monitor and follow the advice of federal, state, and local officials.  Our main concern is the safety of the Badger Bank family, customers and community, so our default is to err on the side of caution.  We are working on a plan to restore the bank’s operations back to “normal”, and that plan will be continuously re-evaluated as new information comes in.  To that end, we have no firm timeline as it’s subject to change depending on how the COVID-19 situation plays out, but please know that it is in the works and more updates will follow in the coming weeks.

During this time of uncertainty, please use our online banking (badgerbank.bank), mobile app and drive up's as much as possible. Also, ask about Apple, Samsung and Android Pay as a possible safer alternative to debit cards during this time.

Badger Bank would like to THANK YOU ALL for your response to this situation over the past couple months.  For many of us, it has tested our comfort limits.  It has also prompted some creativity and changes to how we approach our work.  We are proud of the way our team has stepped up and taken care of our customers, as well as each other, during this time.

All of us here at Badger Bank understand the difficulties facing everyone as we deal with the ever-changing environment and uncertainties due to the COVID-19 outbreak.  These are unprecedented times and Badger Bank stands ready to serve and assist all of you in any way that we can.

I wanted to bring you up to date on temporary changes that we have made at your bank. As a precautionary measure for the safety of all of us, we have discontinued lobby service.  All of our locations continue to offer drive-up services.  We strongly urge you to use our state-of-the-art online banking and mobile app for your day-to-day needs.  Our staff are ready and available to answer your questions via phone or email.  As always, the bank offers you the safest place in America for your money and we will be here for you each and every day.

We are fully aware of financial challenges that many of us will face as we deal with the pandemic.  Badger Bank is a strong and caring team that is committed to working with our customers, communities, and all of our employees.

March 17, 2020: UPDATED!  NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS: 

We will be temporarily closing the lobby at each of our branch locations beginning Thursday, March 19th.  The health and safety of our customers, staff, and the community are of paramount importance.  The drive up will remain open for business.  Customers may still see us by appointment, so please call or email if you would like to meet with your banker.  Our mobile app and online banking services continue to be available 24 hours a day.  Please also don’t hesitate to call.  We are standing ready to continue serving you the best way possible. 

March 14, 2020: COVID-19 Update

As we watch the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolve at a rapid pace, we wanted to reach out to communicate that our team here at Badger Bank is taking steps to continue serving our customers, staff and the community. Our branches remain open as normal.  However, it is difficult to predict how this situation will play out and we will continue to monitor and re-evaluate as additional information becomes available.  Rest assured that regardless of the developments that evolve your accounts will remain available to you.

• Our senior leadership is closely monitoring the situation on a daily basis. We have preparedness plans in place and continue to follow the precautions issued by official health agencies.

• Our people are being advised to follow best-practices when it comes to safety. We are re-evaluating the way we conduct daily business to minimize the need for group gatherings, and have plans in place for absences, if needed.

• Careful attention is being paid to additional disinfectant procedures in all bank locations, adding to the existing robust routines we already use.

We want to reassure you that you will continue to have access to banking services in the midst of this unique situation. While our branch locations do remain open at this time, we respect and understand that you may not be comfortable visiting the bank in person.  We’ve made significant investments offering clients the latest in banking technology, which also allows you to continue banking in a number of ways, without visiting a branch location, if you choose.  

• Online banking: You can continue to manage most of your banking needs online at badgerbank.bank.

• Mobile deposits: Our mobile app is a shortcut to many online banking features. It also offers the convenience of making deposits using your device camera, without leaving home.

• By phone: As always, we are happy to talk with you. Your local bank is just a phone call away.

• Drive-throughs: Continue to be open at all branch locations as well.
